About the Business

MacDinton's SoHo opened in May 2002. It was founded by three Irishmen -- O'Connor, Winters and Sean James -- who worked together in Connecticut. They reunited in Tampa and opened MacDinton's on a large Howard Avenue tract, adopting a name once used by a nearby bar that had been dormant for about a decade. MacDinton's quickly became a favored hangout for happy hour and beyond.
