Lunchbox Laboratory relocated from their small, hole in the wall location in Ballard to the former Southlake Grill site in late January 2011! This "funkadelic" restaurant boasts it's the home of the best burger in America and features its original menu of hand ground eclectic burgers along with some fantastic new experiments. Also on the menu are handcrafted shakes and a full bar of crazy retro cocktails. Upstairs you will find the Rumpus Room with a fully stocked bar, old school arcade games, along with a pool and shuffle board table.

Lunchbox laboratory is a gourmet yet very un-orthodox burger joint focusing on combining quality experimental ingredients that consistently leaves the guest saying "wow, what next?" . We let this focus and passion carry over into our other aspects of the business letting us become more then just a destination restaurant. We are also a casual neighborhood bar that you are sure to find your friends at or make new ones, featuring anything from tall boys of PBR or some experimental libations sure to involve some sort of candy infused vodka and maybe some Tang or Kool Aid. Lunchbox Laboratory tries to take you back to a time in your life when things were simple and fun. When you walk in you are greeted with an assortment of old familiar lunch boxes and lava lamps, also offering old school arcade games as well as Pool and Shuffleboard to get your mind off of the busy work week.
