About the Business

Lauriol Plaza was created in 1983 and was located on the corner of 18th Street and S Street, NW, near DuPont Circle.

Given the impeccable service and food quality, the restaurant thrived in its original location.

In 1999, Raul Sanchez and Luis Reyes, the restaurant owners, decided to move restaurant to 1835 18th St. NW, its present location, where Lauriol Plaza has become a prominent institution in the restaurant industry.

Our kitchen offers affordable, delicious Tex-Mex and Latin American dishes in a sophisticated, urban atmosphere, in downtown Washington, DC. Plato Grande Beef and Chicken Fajitas, Costillas (pork ribs) and Camarones Diablo (shrimp).Fresh Flour Tortillas, Mexican Rice, Frijoles a la charra, guacamole, pico de gallo and Chips and Salsa.
