About the Business

Aubrey and Nona Lankford established the business in 1937. It was originally a fruit stand and then became a grocery store in 1940. Aubrey and Nona's daughter, Eydie Lankford Prior, took over the family business in the 1980's and turned it into a restaurant. Over the last 40 years, we have been recognized for having the Best Burgers in Houston. We have been featured on National TV Shows, such as Diner's, Drive-In's, and Dives and on many local tv shows, such as the Texas Bucket List. As of recent, the 3rd Generation lead by Jessica Prior, has taken over the business. Our mission continues to be to deliver a fantastic customer experience and exceptional food. Our goal is to keep the business in our family for many more generations to come. We look forward to serving you!
