Business Owner

Stacey H. (Business Owner)

La Mixteca Tamale House was born from the love of tamales!  It is also a tribute to our late mother, Rosa Lucia, who was born and raised in the mountainous Mixteca region of Oaxaca.   After moving around the U.S. our family ended up in Morristown, TN for nearly 25 years until eventually moving to Atlanta and opening our doors in 2018 to share our love for tamales with the city that has welcomed and embraced us.
