About the Business

Well, you can say it is a dream come true for 12 siblings looking for a dream in the kitchen. Good cooking made us succeed in business -- well not just fine food cooking but more than 25 years of learning and exceptional teamwork.

Our customers like to hear the success story behind our chain of five restaurants which started in 1988 in a small storefront in Lauderhill. In 1991, we decided to expand our business and opened La Bamba II in Margate with a full liquor bar. In 1994 we opened La Bamba III on Federal Hwy in Fort Lauderdale. In 1995, the original place fondly called La Bambita-- was closed and we opened La Bamba on Sunrise Blvd in Plantation. In 2004, we opened La Bamba on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. In 2008, our most recent La Bamba V opened its doors on US Highway One in North Palm Beach.

Success came slowly, mostly through our customers' word of mouth and God blessing us. Customers seem to appreciate our consistency and family oriented atmosphere.

You can always count on one of the12 siblings operating the restaurants for; instance, Jose Molina and I run La Bamba III on Federal HWY in Fort Lauderdale.  He operates the kitchen while I manage the dining room along with two other managers, so you can count on our personal service.  We take our business very personally and that gives our restaurants that friendly atmosphere that most of these new places will not offer.
