kwan a thai national and her american husband met in thaiti with the dream of owning their own restaurant some day. hard work and determination they opened kwan thai with $3.64 left in the bank 6 years ago and are still going strong. the staff and all kitchen help are all thai nationals , except for pete the owners husband . kwanthai has grown leaps and bounds in the last 6 years. loyal customer base has spread good news about this local and small town favorite located in pearl river ny 18 miles north of nyc. with many great reviews kwan thai has become a strong hold in a small community and has gained world review from international customers who travel to the area on business.
with their support of many events and charities kwan thai will continue to grow in rockland county, ny and around the world.
kwan thai has also launched 5 new sauces and has started mobile thai food in coffee trucks and kitchen trucks for events all over the tri state area. look for the trucks or sauce
