Our store, named Kohshi (Japanese for Master of Scents), offers Japanese Incense, as well as aroma therapy, Eco-friendly candles, soaps, perfumes, and sprays from Japan, the USA, France, Canada, and the UK. We have art, brass, kokeshi dolls, Buddhist accessories, cups, and ceramics from Japan so you can find a gift for anyone at a great price. Our main attraction is, of course, fine-quality Japanese Incenses, which we are happy to light in the store. We believe we have the largest variety of Japanese Incenses in the world, outside of Japan. We were formerly called Japan Incense, and used to be located on Chestnut Street in the Marina district. We moved to the Japan Town mall in December 2008. Japan Town is located between Geary and Post Streets, at the intersection of Webster St. There's lots of City-run, reasonably priced, parking under the mall. Our store is in Suite 335, inside the JapanTown mall, next to the Andersen Bakery in the JapanCenter West Building. We're open every day, except Tuesdays, from 11 am to 6 pm.
