About the Business

Killer Hair started as a specialist cut, colour and make-up studio in Steven and Mimi's home, a converted warehouse in Auckland's Eden Terrace.

As a husband and wife team it felt natural to follow our passion and be the one's to make the decisions about our creativity and start making our dreams come true.

We decided to start small and grow based on the work. Tucked away down a one-way street, down another one-way street it was lucky people started talking. Our client's hair and word of mouth was the only source of advertising.

With our bigger client base (and a new baby) it became clear that Fleet St could no longer contain us and so the search began. - A new salon!

Built in 1919 the Masonic Temple in St Benedict's St is a building like no other, they truly don't make them like this anymore.

High ceilings and loads of quirk, the massive old iron window's let the view over the Waitakere's pour in and the sunsets are incredible.

Our team just love working in this iconic space.
