Kiin Thai Kitchen first opened at 699 Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden on 5th Jan 2018.
as Kiin Thai Underground Kitchen, as the kitchen was literally in the basement!
before closing our doors on Sunday 24th September 2023 on Mount Eden Road.

Kiin Thai Kitchen then relocated to 360c Dominion Road, Mount Eden and reopened our doors on Friday 29th September 2023.
housing twice a much seating capacity, and kitchen is no longer in the basement!

KIIN, a family business, first opened it's doors to the residence of Mt Eden, Auckland on 5th January 2018. We wanted to bring the taste of Thailand to Auckland! very bold statement we know. the ingredients we use are of high quality, fresh produce are sourced from our local suppliers and purchased in small quantities to control freshness and avoid food waste. Meals are only prepared when ordered and ready for you hot off the stove. We also prepare weekend only special dishes to mirror the selection and flavours you would see on the streets of Thailand, these weekend specials are on a rotational and limited time basis, why not come in for a taste today.
