Karen's years of outstanding customer service and passion for her art has lead to the opening of Karen Marie Salon. "Creating a space where stylists can come and express themselves without the confinements of a corporate salon, enabling my team to flourish and grow in a more relaxed yet professional environment is our goal." It is important to make a positive impact on the beauty industry not only by providing a warm and comfortable salon experience but by creating an eco-friendly sustainable salon. She has created a sustainable salon environment by adding a recycling dumpster to the Oakley Lofts building, minimizing the use of paper products whenever possible, bringing on environmentally responsible product lines and designing the space with recycled or refurbished materials while also employing a like minded staff.
