Our lessons are designed to build muscle memory, fighting reflexes and confidence. Students will pick up the fundamentals of striking and progress steadily towards more advanced training. Our curriculum cycles every few months, with each lesson covering a particular aspect/theme of karate. We take great care to keep our classes relevant and realistic, to keep our students on top of the game.

Zhi Jie, a 2nd degree black belt, started practicing karate at a young age. In his teens he became frustrated with the lack of effective training in karate. He felt that it created a martial art where one could train for years and still be horrible at fighting. To better himself, he started to cross train in MMA and kickboxing alongside his karate. However he still saw value in karate, the fluid movement and crisp footwork was very effective. The only problem was that karate was not practiced with enough live resistance. Altering his training methods to focus on realistic training and live resistance, he returned to practice and teach karate. He is still actively competing in tournaments and competitions.
