About the Business

Josephine Skaught was opened by Master Stylist, Skaught Gibson in 2012. The Las Vegas native and local stylist of 18 years was looking to create a salon with an intimate setting and talented team in a unique atmosphere so he decided to settle downtown in the up and coming Art District. The salon also doubles as an art gallery, with rotating shows by the resident fine artist, Mark Mellon.

I have been a licensed hair stylist since 1998, and grow more passionate and excited about my craft every single day.  Furthering my education and staying up to date with current technique is of the utmost importance to me.  Over the past 25 years I have been working alongside some of the top stylists in the industry and  training all over the US as well as Bumble and bumble University in New York. My past experiences working in other cities led me to craving a salon experience that I couldn’t find in Las Vegas. So I found the best team, built a salon, and now we’re lucky enough to conjoin daily in our small, artsy, and friendly environment.
