Josh honed his hospitality know-how in premier local restaurants and also spent time in Highlands, North Carolina enhancing his wine education. With each of his professional experiences, his palate and knowledge for food & beverage grew and he created a mental notebook of what his own dining establishment might look like one day. Through countless conversations with local guests and his exciting culinary-focused travels, Josh was inspired to continue pushing forward in his career. When the stars aligned, he pursued his dream of opening his own restaurant and bringing a big city feel to his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. The budding restaurateur brought his first restaurant concept to life via Josephine, an Italian-American concept named after his beloved grandmother.
