About the Business

Jonny Blonde has been cooking professionally for fifteen years. Soon he was working in lead roles in two of Burlington/Oakville's finest Italian three-star restaurants (La Costa and Amici-Impazza Ristorante).
Eventually, Jonny moved to Cumbrae's, franchiser of top-flight retail meat stores and farms for naturally-raised meats. Their artesanal food, its ties to health, the environment, local farmers and sustainability had a major influence on his cooking. It was his inspiration when he decided to strike out on his own with a gourmet bistro on wheels.
Since his launch in 2013, Jonny's truck has been well received and celebrated with several awards and distinctions.
