Jonathan's The Rub began as a catering and private cooking company and quickly evolved into a restaurant in 2008 after high demand from those Jonathan was cooking for. The original restaurant opened its doors in Memorial's Hedwig Village and remains a cozy, neighborhood BYOB spot. The second location opened late 2018 in Memorial Green and offers many favorites plus new creations in an upscale environment with a full bar. In 2021 the original location was relocated a block north of the original. It now has a full bar to enjoy as well!

Family, hospitality and good food - this is what we're all about. The Levine family puts hospitality first along with making sure guests feel welcomed and right at home. The menu is a depiction of our life experiences and where we've been as a family, including the root of it all - our original restaurant and catering space which has been in Hedwig Village since 2008. Jonathan continues to spoil his guests with incredible food. Here, we prepare composed plates, bring you a full cocktail bar, and an exceptional wine list with favorite craft beers. We look forward to welcoming you to our second home away from home in Memorial Green.
