About the Business

In 2014, Jonah was studying business at LoneStar College, paying his way by moving furniture on the side. Before the year was up, Jonah had paid off the lease on his first box truck. In 2015, Jonah's Movers became fully licensed, insured, and bonded. Jonah was able to leave his night job, focusing on his studies & the business. Upon graduating in 2016, Jonah purchased a second truck, doubled the number of employees, and married Diana - the lovely girl of his dreams! In 2017, over 700 moves were completed; Jonah's Movers was recognized for its excellence by Angies List. In 2018, Jonah brought on additional staff, increased employee pay, and implemented a rigorous training program to bring new hires up to the company's high standard. Jonah's Movers joined The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Movers Association, and the Houston Association of Realtors. Jonah & Diana's family grew as well, with Stella, their first kid, arriving in September!

Hello! My real name is Jonathan but I have been going by Jonah my whole life. I have a beautiful wife, Diana, who was very active in the early startup of Jonah's Movers. We met doing volunteer work for our church in New York in 2012, before getting married in 2016, and having our first gorgeous little girl in 2018.
