We originally opened in a small space in the same shopping center selling dough items. This family restaurant has expanded over the years to offer a menu of authentic dishes from Taiwan and Mainland China as well as a full bar and a relaxing cafe. No matter when you come by, you'll always feel right at home with something delicious in front of you.

Jeng Chi opened its doors in 1990 with four tables and a small bakery. Dumplings and noodles were the fare then, Guests fell in love with the authentic Northern Chinese menu we were able to expand. Today, we're serving guests from a larger location in DFW Chinatown, one that hosts parties of up to 72 people (perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, and wedding rehearsals). Our menu has also grown, offering a range of dishes from Taiwan and Mainland China prepared by our highly skilled chefs. We even have a cafe and a full bar, both ready to serve you depending on your libation of choice. Jeng Chi is still a place for juicy dumplings, but it's also a place for connecting with others, a place to enjoy authentic food, and, most importantly, a place for our community to make memories in.
