About the Business

This is the original location!

iTech started as Jim Muir's hobby of buying and selling computers, locally. Beginning in 2010, he named the store The Mac Toy Store and ran it from his garage. Eventually, enough customers were showing up at his door, that Jim opened the first brick & mortar store in West Palm Beach back in 2012. With the help of his sons and now offering repairs, he was able to double the size of the store within the first year! Over the years, their growth was enough to catch the attention of a franchising company, and together renamed as iTech and opened more than 100 locations worldwide!

Today, even though there are many Experimax locations, Jim's original passion shines through our stores. You can still expect the same great attention and care that goes into every device we sell and repair. Occasionally, you'll even see Jim and his sons working in the stores, so be sure to say hello!
