Love, passion, dedication and hard work are the ingredients that make Italiana Delicatessen a true gem in South Yarra, a place to take a mini trip to Italy.
A family business run by husband and wife Julia and Antonio, and Julia's mamma Rose. Antonio a chef from Sardinia, Julia an actress, both are full of creativity and energy with a love and passion for food and people. Mamma Rose knows all the traditions! You'll be welcomed with infectious love and friendliness.

The idea of opening this shop was born during the couple's honeymoon in Italy, after visiting the historical "All'Antico Vinaio". A tavern in Florence, where tourists experience the real Italian sandwich, using a tuscan bread called "Schiacciata", and remain overwhelmed by the explosion of tastes.

So inspired, they took the memories and tastes of their honeymoon and opened Italiana Delicatessen, offering superb coffee, Italian pastries, fresh panini and Schiacciata with high quality ingredients.
