About the Business

Many old school New Yorkers may know or heard of the legendary Chinese restaurant, Hwa Yuan, that closed years ago in the 1980s. Now, the son of the owner, Chef Chen Lieh Tang, is opening Hwa Yuan Szechuan right next to it's original location in hopes to recreate the success of his father, Yun Fa Tang (formerly known as Shorty Tang).
