About the Business

Hotel Palisade was built in 1912 and accommodated some of the earliest Harbour Bridge engineers in it's hotel rooms.

This magnificent building overflows with history and elegance. The hotel has not been open since 2008. Come July we will be opening her beautiful doors to the public once more and invite you down to our pub for a beer and a satisfying feed.

Established in 1912.

Specialties

The Palisade is a federation free style building that was built in 1912, designed by architect Henry D. Walsh (chief engineer Sydney Harbour Trust). The traditional brick building with sandstone trim is a beautiful representation of one of the few remaining heritage listed in Sydney. Hotel Palisade has adopted us as her new family and we feel so blessed to be involved with such an old, iconic beauty. The hotel has housed some of Sydney's first Harbour Bridge engineers and has traded as a pub up until 2008 when it closed. Nine years on and we are opening her beautiful doors once more. The pub will be opening in July and will be open from 12pm - 12am. The hotel will be open in September, as will Henry Deane's cocktail lounge on level 5.
