I started this business because I got tired of being a sales man for a big plumbing company. I started out doing new construction and after the building crashed I got into service work. What I didn't realize was that doing service work is just a sales job and the big companies could care less about a worker ability to do good work but more about how much work you could sell and up sell (most of these companies don't teach there employees technical training, They teach them sales tactics!! You ever noticed that there adds and trucks always have old people or woman on them and are painted pink? there goal is to target single woman and senior citizens (widows)! And use scare tactic to sell big jobs. My philosophy is different, if you treat people right and do HONEST work, you build your business the old school way with repeat customers and word of mouth referrals. Not smoke and mirrors advertising.
