About the Business

Robert Novello founded Hippie Hair Concepts back in 1997 as a freelance artist. Traveling the world and mastering the craft of hair art, Robert became involved in many facets of the beauty world. Working with many of the worlds top hairstylists, photographers, make up artists and fashion designers. In 2004 working as a platform artist in Bologna, Italy, Robert met his now wife Laura, who was 4 years into the hairstyling business. Since this union we have now teamed up and opened our very own location in the GTA.

Robert and Laura Novello make up the team at Hippie Hair Concepts. Between both of us, we have a powerful positive chemistry that becomes contagious. Robert started his journey into the hair world in 1985 and his wife Laura in the year 2000. Both of us have become master's of our art. Robert has traveled extensively to many parts of the world educating and learning all aspects of the beauty industry. Laura is a master colourist and is well respected in the beauty community. We are now 1 year into our venture and new business and will never look back.
