About the Business

When Kris HImstedt (owner) started being a stay at home dad, he couldn't sit still. He started doing odd jobs for the people in the community. Not only did this add a lot of skills to his toolbelt, but word of mouth spread his name and quality of work. Pretty soon, his side occupation turned into a full-blown business. They started off calling it "Don't Cuss Call Kris." The business continued to grow over the next 10 years and a rebrand was in order. Through much deliberation, the name became Himstedt Improvements. Still the same quality of work, just with a new name.

Meet Kris (the guy with the big beard). He grew up on a hog farm in Central Illinois, and like most farm kids had to learn to to fix things at a very early age. Not that he minded. He'd rather be outside working with his hands anyway.
