About the Business
Starting in 2008 as the revered and reviled "City North", our little district came to represent everything bad about the economic recession and Phoenicians loved to hate on us. We sucked it up and persevered. Just like the mythological bird after which our city is named, we rose from the ashes to become something bigger, better, more fabulous than ever before!
In 2013 SKB breathed new life into our North Phoenix district. Since then we've continued to add outstanding dining, bars & nightlife, world-class attractions, indie boutiques and shopping, and premier luxury services. And it hasn't stopped there!
At nearly full capacity, 2015 will see the opening of new select merchants & tenants, including the relocation of the Sprouts Farmers Market headquarters (plus a small footprint grocery store!), indie bars & dining, and tons of new developments in the exploding Desert Ridge corridor.
