About the Business

I first learned electrical work in a high school building trades class. Then after attending Texas A&M University and joining the US Army Reserves, I began working with a small, Houston area electrician as I worked towards my Journeyman Electrician license. After serving in Afghanistan and Pakistan, I became the Field Supervisor with a national electrical company, and received my Masters license. I then decided to open Hensley Electric to bring top quality work and a friendly attitude at a price that's actually affordable.

I am a Master Electrician with 15 years of experience, Army Veteran, and Texas A&M grad, but most importantly, a husband and father of 2 (plus a dog).  My family is very important to me, which is why I choose to do residential service work.  I treat every family with the respect that I give my own.  I like to fix things and I like to help people, so I've found a job that lets me do both of those things.  I received my apprentice license in 2003, and found the thing that I was good at.  Electricity has been my passion since then, and I still learn something new every day.  I perform all of my own work so I know it's done right the first time, and I stand behind it.
