Performance Acura has been a Hendrick Automotive Group Dealership since its opening in 1985. Hendrick Automotive Group was founded in 1976 by Rick Hendrick. The company is ranked by Ward's Dealer Business magazines as the seventh-largest mega-dealer operation in the nation. Mr.Hendrick's love for cars began while he was growing up on a farm in a rural town of N.C. By age 16, Mr.Hendrick was buying, repairing, and reselling used cars he purchased with bank loans. He went on to study at N.C.State University and after college was offered a management position with a newly opened car center in Raleigh. He was so successful that a year later he was appointed generals sales manager of a dealership. He was only 23 years old. Since then Mr.Hendrick has gone on to tremendous success, owning over 80 automotive franchises in the United States. Along with Performance Acura, Hendrick Group's focus is to ensure the existing dealerships perform at the highest possible level. Come see for yourself!
