About the Business

HCDA Engineering, Inc. (formerly Howard C. Dutzi & Associates, Inc.) was founded in November of 1961. Since its inception the firm has been engaged as structural engineering consultants to many architectural firms and other clients for numerous building projects of various types and sizes. Our present staff consists of five licensed engineers,six design engineers and three CAD staff knowledgeable in both AutoCAD and REVIT modelling and an administrative assistant.

Working to satisfy the needs of our client, we have designed structures using virtually every type of system and material including masonry, timber, structural steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned and pre-stressed concrete. We have designed foundations of all types such as spread footings, driven piles, and drilled piers. Our experience includes the design of new buildings as well as extensive experience in remodelling and renovation of existing buildings.
