Hair Republic | Beauty Lounge (HR) is an eco-chic boutique hair salon and spa in the heart of Old Ottawa South. HR offers full salon and spa services focusing on innovative techniques and luxurious eco-friendly product lines. HR selects its product lines based on the health of their clients and staff, performance and environmental / social sustainability. We currently use and carry Schwarzkopf, Kevin Murphy, Living Proof and Dermalogica, conditioning and styling products. HR also carries Essensity, an organic ammonia-free color line.

Michelle is an undoubtedly multi-talented Senior Stylist, Salon Manager and Partner of Hair Republic | Salon. Michelle received her Hair Styling Diploma from the Versailles Academy, a Diploma from Toni and Guy Advance and a Diploma in Business Marketing from Algonquin College. Some of her many accomplishments include working with Toni and Guy, Colour Masters, Icon Mentor, Advance Cutting and Essential Looks. Michelle is an expert with all aspects of men's and women's hair cutting and styling, with a particular love for colouring, colour mapping and up-do's. Her ability to understand her client's wishes and transform their hair into something remarkable is why her clientele stays loyal and returns to her time and time again.
