About the Business

After living and breathing the small laneways of Melbourne for 15 years, Marcus has come back to my hometown with a focus on opening a small bar. Named in Honor of his grandfather and his lineage.

With a desire to showcase his favourite tipples, Rum & Gin (a sailors spirit staples), he chose to give the venue some nautically inspiration.

Delicately sourcing materials for the bar, such as the bar itself which is crafted out of Largs Bay jetty, where his grandfather used to spend much of his childhood. The 1250kg feature anchor was sourced from Captain Brett Devine (true name), and bronzed portholes have been fashioned into the brick walls for visibility into another space.
