About the Business

Family run business born from a love of weight training, martial arts, fitness and sports and bodybuilding nutrition.
After a couple of years we sourced a team of fabricators also extremely experienced in heavy duty commercial gym equipment manufacture to make our own branded gym equipment.
So tough and heavy duty by design and build the GymRatZ Gym Equipment rapidly became the firm favourite with some of the toughest gyms both in the UK and abroad. Professional Rugby clubs, MOD, RAF, Police and Fire services, Universities, Schools and some very notable sports and strength athletes.
Both the shop and the website were set up in 1999 where the website supplement reviews became an instant hit and globally acclaimed as an extremely honest and impartial reference for bodybuilding supplements.
Unlike most other stores we refuse to diversify into less specialist areas for the sake of increased profits which enables us to focus on providing the very best equipment and advice in our field.

Also offering Bodybuilding Supplements and nutrition, Gym Flooring, Strongman equipment, weight training and weightlifting products, WaterRower Rowing Machine specialist, Kettlebells and boxing equipment. Advice from martial artists, drug free bodybuilders and people that have an in-depth experience of everything from extreme fat loss diets to general weight trainig for both men and women. We DON'T sell table tennis tables or bargain basement equipment but specialise in unique and hard to find products for both the home and commercial gym and personal trainers. If a product isn't something we would be happy to use ourselves we just won't stock it for sale. Simple as that. Oh and all products hare written up and reviewed by Pete and Matt ONLY so the advice on the website is the same as you will get in the shop and it's brutally honest !
