About the Business

The Evening Star tapped its first keg in 1873, Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl from Nirvana once played pool here. It was affectionately nicknamed the Evil Star, with its general air of seediness (aided by the presence of drinking journalists). The seediness is gone, the journos are still here, and we have kept a little cheeky evil devilishness in the new brand logo and name.
