Formerly Chubb Lock and Safe, Gunnebo established operations in Canada in 1954. The core business was the manufacture and installation of safes, vault doors, night depositories and other heavy physical security items, Chubbsafes is now a brand as opposed to a company. After many changes and acquisitions The Gunnebo Group purchased the company and expanded its activities to include: safes, vaults, depositories, CCTV, access control, Turnstiles, vehicle barriers and locksmithing service for all door hardware and locks.

For 50 years Gunnebo has been the premier service provider for retail, finance and government. No other security company offers its customers more product selection or service from a single reputable source. Gunnebo has 14 company owned service branches in Canadian cities, we know of no other locksmith /security provider that can offer the same level of consistency and exemplary service. We have 3 branches in British Columbia; Burnaby, Victoria and Kelowna.
