About the Business

GoTire of Halifax was launched in March of 2013 by a local couple who felt the concept would be a great fit for the Halifax area. As a franchise system the company has high standards for customer service and a strong belief in the highest level of technical training and safety standards.

GoTire was founded in Red Deer, AB in 2011 by Craig Howes & Heather Murphy, busy parents and business owners. When winter came, it took them three days to coordinate getting the tires changed on their family vehicles and fleet vehicles. They thought, "There MUST be a better way!" and so the idea of GoTire was born.

At GoTire, we offer the highest level of customer service. We perform seasonal tire swaps, install, balancing and rotation. We also offer seasonal tire storage. Need new tires? Shop online at www.gotire.com. Services also include windshield repair and replacement as well as interior detailing & headlight restoration.

The MacRae's are originally from Prince Edward Island, with several years spent living in the HRM. They then lived in Alberta for close to 10 years where they first heard of the GoTire concept. Looking to start a family and be closer to home GoTire provided the perfect opportunity to start a small business and move East.
