About the Business

Geebo Device Repair Inc originated as a school project in 2009. The owner Nic Merry began the business after completing a business plan project in his high school entrepreneur class on phone repairs. Within days after the project Nic toke his life savings and started purchasing parts and tools to begin fixing phones. Nic operated part-time with his repairs while completing High School. At this time the repairs were being done in his parents' home.

Three years after the school project Nic started attending Saint Mary's University, at this time Nic was operating full-time with cellphone and tablet repairs while operating out his grandmothers basement. Two years into his Saint Mary's degree, Nic had decided to leave school to focus further on his business.

Upon leaving Saint Mary's Nic opened his first location in Dartmouth, NS 2015.

Geebo has since grown to 5 locations across Nova Scotia making Geebo the largest cellphone and computer repair company in Atlantic Canada.

Nic started fixing phones out of his parents home in Eastern Passage in 2009, he later transitioned into repairs from an apartment located in Halifax while attending Saint Marys University. Nic decided phone repairs was a viable business and as a result he left SMU to begin operating his phone repair business full time from his grand mothers basement, which was designed to represent a store front.
