About the Business

On February 6, 1898, six of Seattle's most prominent theater owners gathered to discuss how to handle an ongoing musicians' strike. John Cort, brothers John W. and Thomas J. Considine, H.L. Leavitt, Mose Goldsmith and Arthur G. Williams headed down to the Moran Brothers' shipyard on South Charles Street to make a plan. According to most popular accounts, after deciding to work together to settle the strike by using piano players to replace the musicians, the men began to discuss life. At that moment, the Order of Good Things was born. As their numbers grew, the Order chose the Bald Eagles as their official emblem and changed the name of the organization to "The Fraternal Order of Eagles, with a goal to "make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope."

Everyone is welcome just sign our guest book. When you come in for a pint of your favorite brew or a cocktail from our full service bar you are welcome to 'bring in/order in' your favorite pizza or any food that you can find from our local foodie neighbors. Eat , drink and have a free game of pool or darts. Our Thursday evening Open Mic nights are so much fun with talented local musicians filling our Lounge with energy and great tunes. Open Mic is from 7pm but come down any time after 4pm to enjoy our club. We have a buzz in entrance door and gated secure parking for those who drive over but better yet leave the car at home! We are a non profit organization that gives back to our local community in need. Friday nights from 9pm we feature live music that will get you up on your feet to dance! On the other side of our Non profit organization we have a cozy banquet room for rent. We host all kinds of 19+ events. The room has a full bar , dance floor, small stage, party lights of the dance floor , A/V system for rent. Whether it is a 19+ birthday, Wedding, Celebration of Life or just a kick butt party....give us a call if you require a space that suits a group up to 120 ppl in the room including staff/music. We do not have an operational kitchen but invite you to hire your own catering or we can suggest someone , or you can bring in platters from your fave place or a family pot luck.
