Back in Beijing I had three restaurants, but I always missed the quality of life I had in Boulder on holiday a few years back.

After moving here I was surprised at the quality of the Chinese food here, and not in a good way. Where did all the spices and technique go? Why is everything fried? And what the heck is orange chicken?

I eventually decided to open my own restaurant and make authentic Chinese food using fresh ingredients and real spices. After much searching we finally found this little place on Broadway that was perfect: small, affordable, and a great platform to test and tweak our recipes on our American diners.

I love Boulder, and I'm so happy to finally be part of this community.
