About the Business

Club Metro USA Fitness and Wellness Center was founded in Toms River, NJ in 2007 and opened its third franchise in Jersey City in 2009. At a time when fitness centers throughout New Jersey are closing their doors in record numbers, Club Metro USA plans to open an additional 30 clubs in the coming year - bringing affordable fitness to NJ residents and adding hundreds of new jobs to the communities they serve.

UPDATE JUNE 2023 - The Club Metro USA franchise was bought out by the up and coming Fitness Factory franchise. Club Metro officially rebranded to Fitness Factory in June of 2023. With fifteen convenient locations throughout New Jersey and New York, Fitness Factory is creating an expansive network of world class facilities along the East Coast.

Richard graduated from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts in 2004, earning a degree in the field of Finance.  After working 6 years in the public accounting field at Deloitte & Touche in New York's World Financial Center, he was introduced to the Club Metro USA fitness model and decided to bring an affordable health club to his home town of Jersey City.
