About the Business

Once called the Plough & Harrow, The Hotel Richmond was owned by Charles Richmond John Glover (1870-1936). The lord mayor, public benefactor, businessman and book collector was born in Adelaide after his parents migrated from Surrey, England in 1855. Glover's parents owned the pub (called Plough & Harrow at the time) and it was transferred to him as a part of their estate when his mother died in 1913.

Since then it's welcomed all walks of life through its doors for refreshing and mouth watering beverages.
