About the Business

Fifth Avenue Auto was first opened for business after converting the Old Catholic church in Westbank to an auto repair shop. The original owner of the business sold it to Kevan Springford in 1988. Ten years later when the lease was up on the old church property Kevan purchased a piece of property at the corner of Apollo and Brown roads in Westbank. Together with his father and partners Kevan build the facility Fifth Avenue Auto is in today. Since building the new shop one partner retired and Kevan bought the other out, so now Kevan is the sole owner of the business. In 2006 Kevan acquired another business and property in Penticton now also named Fifth Avenue Auto. In 2002 Fifth Avenue made the transition from a break down shop to a proactive maintenance shop. Due to Kevan's steadfast policy of honesty Fifth Avenue Auto enjoys an excellent reputation in the community. In fact Fifth Avenue Auto has been selected as one of the top 5 auto maintenance and repair shops in Canada.
