In December of 1998, we first opened our doors at the corner of Ft. Apache and Charleston with the mission to provide a fabulous experience to our customers. As over ten years has past, the commitment of each employee to follow our mission statement is still strong. Fabulous Freddy Smith was born in 1972 and raised in Salt Lake City. He is the grandson of Dee Smith founder of the Smith Food King, later to be known as Smith's Food and Drug. His family owned the Smith's Food and Drug all of his childhood. He found himself with a job inside the Smith's starting at age 12 giving him an inside knowledge of the inner workings of the grocery, marketing and the retail business at an early age.
