In the Healing room I really try to create a safe environment in which others can relax deeply and come back to themselves and the innate health within themselves. This is where people can contact the wisdom of their bodies and find deep nurturing peace and balance. This is healing. I use several modes of energy to initiate and carry out this process including Touch & Movement: Deep myofascial release and gentle movement unlock blockages in the bio-mechanical body and the underlying energetic system (body/mind, emotions and spirit) and bring the much needed nourishment of physical touch that our beings need. This can result in decreased pain and tension in the body as well as greater range of motion. What's more is the sense of greater space and freedom in the body and mind that can be achieved. Stress seems to melt away and the tissues of the body soften and relax deeply." Subtle Energy Work: I often blend a variety of vibrational/ energetic modalities into the therapy session. Among them are Reiki and sacred sound. These effective systems of balancing subtle energy in the body and mind are administered to the whole being as an "adhesive" to tie the physical work all together, as well as to help the mind unwind and relax through the body. Amazing things can happen with this combination! Reiki, Meditation and Sacred Sound teaching: I also teach people how to work with energy for personal growth and healing, both one to one, and in larger classes.
