Krista and Alexa are two sisters influenced by their grandmother called Mum Mum who taught them the value of investing in timeless, beautiful fashion. The sisters grew up believing that the best wardrobes include iconic designer pieces from the past mixed with current fashion.

Krista and Alexa spent the first years becoming experts in authenticating, buying, and selling luxury consignment to clients all over the world. Soon, Krista and Alexa noticed that Ella Rue clients wanted more than just incredible consignment finds, so the sisters sought out emerging, unique ready-to-wear lines to add to Ella Rue's assortment. Now, Ella Rue is a full-service consignment destination that strives to conserve and pair past designer pieces with current fashion to curate the perfect wardrobe.

Krista, a Middleburg, VA native and long time Georgetown resident, is an avid thrifter and treasure hunter, something that is evident in the many amazing finds and unique decor throughout Ella-Rue. Krista started helping out at a Middleburg boutique when she was just 13 and was so natural with customers that she was quickly hired for the job. Learning the ropes from such a wonderful mentor created a passion for a warm retail experience, whether you're a consignor or a shopper. On her rare times off from Ella-Rue she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and (of course) Ella and Rue.
