About the Business

EcoClean (originally known as EcoMat) was founded in 1997 with the vision of being a dry cleaner Austin residents could grow to LOVE, not just like. The goal was to have the most green and environmentally friendly dry cleaning service and laundry service Austin had ever seen. Founded by John Henderson, the business had it's home at 2915 Guadalupe.

In 2010 Mark Hess and Kevin Bonfield bought EcoClean with the vision to become the best dry cleaner in Austin and to grow to more neighborhoods. With Best of Austin wins in 2018, 2016, 2015, 2013 & 2012 and the opening of three new locations, they are well on their way.
