Started my own shop in 1984 working out of 2 bays Moved to larger 3 bay shop in 1993,opened 2nd location in 1998 as a Drive Clean Facility part of the new Government emissions testing program.We were the 2001 Garage of the Year In 2005 our top tech was named "Canadian Technician of the Year" By Canadian Technician magazine (judged by his peers in the industry.) Eccles Auto Service received a property beautification award by the City of Hamilton which was the first time ever awarded to a garage In 2007 we opened our 3rd location and is currently being managed by my son Scott Eccles Auto service has been featured in every major Canadian trade magazine and we are noted for our progressive approach to the industry since 1984 with Ladies Car Care Clinics,Mobile Child seat installation,Ladies referral club,clean comfortable waiting areas with wireless for those who want to work while they wait!But most importantly we diagnose & repair vehicles well.

Scott grew up in Ancaster and graduated from Ancaster High School. Scott first completed a two year business program at Niagara College and was on the Presidents list for obtaining the highest marks. Afterwards Scott entered the family business in 2003. Scott completed his apprenticeship from Mohawk College, receiving the "Top Automotive Service Technician Advanced Student" award in the process. Soon after he became a certified Automotive Service Technician. In 2007 Scott moved in to the office and began working with customers. In 2019 he purchased the business from his father.
