About the Business

The business first began as a landscape maintenance company and now has grown into a multi department organization. The nursery all began growing plants in the owners grandmas backyard building an inventory of over 3000 homemade plants when he was only 18. The companies first retail location was on Seminole blvd partnering with Rose Gardens florist’s old location then new location from January 2016-July 2018. After establishing a solid crew and business model the business found its final home at our 3.2 acre farm in the heart of largo where we expanded to be a nursery, landscape supply store, landscape company, petting zoo attraction and event venue. And we only look up to what the future will bring. Thank you for the support!

Hello! My name is David Koning but fo by DK. I have a great love for plants and began my own certified Pinellas County back yard nursery in January of 2014.  Doing landscaping and yard maintenance my whole life has given me an extensive amount of plant knowledge. I graduated with my bachelors in business management in 2017. After working at another local nursery i knew i needed to start my own business to provide nursery products with a better price and experience. This thought process is what brought me to my slogan. "A better looking yard for a better looking price" March 1st 2016 I opened my location in Largo. Then moved next door to Rose Garden Florist’s location. In August 2018 I purchased my own farm. Very rapidly I have expanded in becoming a destination location offering so many products and services. I hope you get the opportunity to work with me and my staff with all of your landscaping & entertainment needs!
