Inspired by our Taco Truck on the patio at ABIA's South Terminal, De Nada Cantina was built during the 2020 pandemic and opened in May 2021. Founded by the owners of Sawyer & Co. and 2 Dine 4 Fine Catering, De Nada Cantina brings the best of the kitchens of East Austin to the public for authentic interior Mexican cuisine.

Handmade tortillas pressed and cooked on the comal, slow-braised meats, and traditional handcrafted margaritas served in a greenhouse. Nothing fancy, just delicious. Stephen Shallcross first ventured into East Austin in 1990 and fell in love with the food available in this part of town. He founded his first business, 2 Dine 4 Fine Catering on the East side and his first restaurant, Sawyer & Co. here too. Having enjoyed hundreds of meals cooked by his neighbors, friends and cooks that he wanted to share, De Nada Cantina was born out of a love for what makes Austin great.
