Dave's Garage was first created by Dave Lankar in 1986 as a new and excited licensed mechanic, where he retained his Class A license at Centennial College. He first started the business on 88 Berzy Street in Aurora renting out a one car garage shop. After moving to two other locations he finally built his own building from the ground up and created the four-car self standing automotive repair shop that it is today.

We are a family owned and operated business, located a few seconds walk from the Aurora Go Train Station. Park and leave your car on your way to work, or just come on by! No appointment necessary.

Dave Lankar was born in 1957 and has owned his own business for over 30 years. He first started working in the trade at the young age of 16, and was a licensed mechanic by 20 years old. After that he worked for many different repair shops including a variety of gas stations and dealerships. After moving to Aurora in 1986, and having 3 kids of his own, he opened up his first shop. Decades later, the shop is now a free-standing, four-car garage owned and operated by Dave himself.
