About the Business

Owners Rodney Mayo and Scott Frielich teamed up to create Dada (French for Hobby-Horse), a very popular restaurant and lounge with a comfortable, home-like atmosphere and a list of regular customers a mile long. Dada was a 1920's art movement that Rodney & Scott incorporated with the Historic Building that was constructed during the 1st world war. The original House was constructed in 1924 and still has the original floors, bathrooms, and windows-It was completely renovated in 2000. Each room is decorated in a slightly different theme and has a character all its own.

Established in 2000.

Business Owner

Scott F. (Business Owner)

Dada the restaurant opened in Delray in the year 2000 in one of the oldest historic homes the Tarrimore house circa 1924 listed as a historic site in Delray Beach. The eclectic interior and revolving artwork compliment the creative cuisine, which is sustainably sourced. As the artist of the Movement we have strived to create an environment that is original, unique and forces us to step outside the box. Dada is non-conformist. It allows our food, atmosphere and staff artistic license, so to speak, to explore beyond the normal convention.
